Karnataka's two-month-old government saw its first cabinet expansion with 19 MLAs sworn in as ministers, leading to immediate discontent and the resignation of one Congress legislator over his exclusion.
The final hearing on petitions filed by five disqualified MLAs elected as independents, challenging the Speaker's order, was adjourned till January 27 by the Karnataka High Court.
